Reportage 10th VLN race 2014
The race result had the potential to be sensational: Jürgen Alzen (Kausen) and Dominik Schwager (Munich) drove the Ford GT3 fielded by H&R Spezialfedern to a much-celebrated first overall victory. The duo prevailed in a thrilling final phase against Klaus Abbelen, Sabine Schmitz (both from Barweiler), Patrick Huisman (Netherlands), and Frank Stippler (Bad Münstereifel) in the Frikadelli-Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. Otto Klohs (Ludwigshafen) and Frédéric Makowiecki (France) celebrated their debut on the podium in the Manthey-Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R in third place.
