The Union Home Ministry has decided to refer the case of two ladies who were sexually assaulted and paraded by a crowd to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The government will now submit an affidavit to the Supreme Court requesting that the viral video case be tried outside of strife-torn Manipur. According to the reports, the person who recorded the video of the two women in Manipur has been detained and his phone has been seized.
