THEME 26 2024 No 3rd position !!

THEME 26 - 2024 No 3rd position !! This slow blues, called “Enough is Enough”, is in the key of D minor. Most harmonica players are then inclined to almost automatically play in 3rd position on a C harmonica (chromatic or diatonic). This is completely understandable because you can then play the D minor scale without having to use bendings. My own preference is to play in 2nd position on a G harmonica. I do this because of the somewhat deeper sound and the bendings on a G harmonica have a pronounced character. This also made my choice to play fewer notes. My basic idea is always to play with the 2 main components of the blues harp, Tone and Groove. The backing track was played by the members of my band the MarbleTones.
