Doctor Who Lockdown Heaven Sent Animated Collab Ft. Borna Matosic #HellOfABird

Hello everyone! This is my first video on my channel. I created a short illustrated/animated version of The Shepherd's Boy story from Heaven Sent for the Doctor Who Lockdown global live tweet event #HellOfABird on 4/14/2020. I worked with Emily Cook and Borna Matosic to create this in less than two short days. I would love to go back and redo this sometime in the future with a more ambitious goal with more time to dedicate to it, but for now I think the small amount I achieved in about 36 hours glued to my laptop with no sleep was pretty decent. I hope you all like it! I used Photoshop to draw all of the assets and individual pieces of the characters/backgrounds, and then imported them into After Effects to light and animate them along with the text. I listened to Borna Matosic's cover of The Shepherd's Boy about forty-thousand times while creating this and I watched Heaven Sent all the way through at least five times over to reference scenes. And that was BEFORE the global rewatch. I'm pretty sure I could quote it line by line by now. I look forward to posting more animated projects in the future!
