mISSion imaginaTIon: Space Food

mISSion imaginaTIon, a joint venture between NASA and Texas Instruments, challenges students to take the knowledge gathered from missions aboard the International Space Station and adapt proven systems and process for a future #JourneytoMars. For the first activity, students are challenged to design a food system. To help them along the way, Kimberly Glaus-Läte, Space Food Systems Laboratory Manager at the Johnson Space Center explains the difference between space food and “Earth food”, how the food system works on the International Space Station, and what NASA is doing to help prepare for future missions. Are you ready to put science, technology, engineering and mathematics to work, and take the next big leap? www.missionimagination.com
