Are the new Blaanid items good enough for anyone to solo Kraken Advanced? I test that theory and show that basically anyone can do Kraken Advanced! NOTE: I did use Equipment Slots in this video, and I do have VIP Service. I think Equipment Slots should be able to be traded between players so that all players have access to them, since they're too nice to not use. NOTE 2: I also intentionally used minimal pets to clear Kraken - only using 6 pets total instead of the arsenal of pets that you see hotkeyed. Half of the pets I used are accessible with F2P accounts through Dungeon Guide and events, and the other half can be bought off of the Auction House from other players. NOTE 3: I used Storm Strider & 8th Anniversary 2nd for this run. I would use Star of the Dawn, but I haven't finished G25 yet. I also think it's okay to use 8th Anniversary because it's basically a +20 Max Damage title, which Nexon has been giving out a lot of recently. NOTE 4: I transferred my Shuriken Spirit Weapon from my Hagi's Shuriken to the Blaanid Shuriken. I think the bare minimum for all players doing Techniques for the first time is to have a level 63 Shuriken Spirit Weapon, since you get the powerful Kunai Storm cooldown resets and the instant Sakura Abyss loads. NOTE 5: I also used 2x Oblivion Swarming accessories from the Dungeon Guide Shop, which costs a total of 10 Fourth Vouchers + the free one from the Fourth Dungeon Guide box. I'd say that's fair game to use here. NOTE 6: In terms of other gear/bonuses: I actually unequipped all of my Echostones, so I'm running 0 Echostones for this run. I do have Homestead bonuses, all from events (so no Gacha exclusive Homestead figures) with +11 Max, +6% Crit Damage, +3 Music Buff Effect, and +1% Bonus Damage. I also have totems activated, with a +0.6% bonus damage totem, +25 Max Damage Alban Totem, +32 Max Damage Totem, and a +10 Max Damage Eweca-Ladeca Totem. All of my totems are attainable through events or, in the case of the Alban Totem, grinding. I have Level 50 Nele Renown and Level 50 Yvona Renown. which can be done over about 208 days for free any player. While I can see that the Homestead/Totem bonuses might de-legitimize this run as Blaanid Gear only, I mainly just wanted to show that one doesn't need the best Reforges in the game to start soloing content/contributing to parties.
