Residents in Seattle's Alki neighborhood say that in addition to the violence seen in the area, street racing has also become a huge issue. Seattle Councilmember Lisa Herbold said it's such a big problem, she's introducing legislation next week to designate the area as a racing zone. A designated racing zone would allow the Seattle Department of Transportation to install speeding cameras and better protect the area.
