Delhi Reports Over 10,665 COVID-19 Infections In Last 24 Hours, Positivity Rate Shoots Up To 11.88%

Delhi on Wednesday reported over 10,665 Covid-19 cases, an almost 95% rise in a single day. The positivity rate shot up to 11.88% which is above the national average. It was 8.37% on Tuesday. The number of active cases in Delhi is 23,307 but hospital admissions stand at 782. Delhi's health minister Satyendra Jain attributed this surge to the Omicron variant. "People coming from abroad are the ones who are mostly affected by the Omicron variant.
