In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, as a younger pup, Skye was raised in a barn where she spent her days waiting to be adopted until she caught a glimpse of Ryder, who was making a delivery, and chased after him through a severe blizzard. It was hard for her to get food because she was the smallest out of all her siblings, Skye gets captured by Victoria Vance and Mayor Humdinger after they escape from jail. Her friends save her by using their mighty meteor powers from the crystals from the meteor that Victoria Vance created. Skye and her friends defeat Victoria Vance and Mayor Humdinger get sent back to jail. Her friends get the crystal back too. Chase tells Skye that he had no idea that her past was like that. But the reason why Ryder started saying "No Pup is too small!" is because of Skye, Skye can do missions that the Other Pups aren't able to do. Skye becomes the flying pup of the Paw Patrol.
