Resident Evil Requiem (PS5 Pro) 4K 60FPS HDR Gameplay Trailer Resident Evil Requiem[a] is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is the ninth main game in the Resident Evil series, following Resident Evil Village (2021).[3] It features a new protagonist, FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, who investigates the post-nuclear Raccoon City with the help of federal agent Leon S. Kennedy. Players switch between Grace and Leon, who have different gameplay mechanics. Missions featuring Grace are presented in the survival horror style of games such as Resident Evil 2 (2019), Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017) and Village, involving her efforts to evade detection from primary antagonist Victor Gideon and the monsters inside the hotel. Leon's missions are combat-driven, similar to games such as Resident Evil 4 (2023). A new Resident Evil game was announced in July 2024 to be directed by Koshi Nakanishi, returning from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Requiem was unveiled by Capcom at Summer Game Fest 2025 that June. It commemorates the series' 30th anniversary, and returns to the overarching narrative between the Raccoon City incident.
