The word of God also guides us that we should not wait only in this life for Christ, for the best is yet to come. If we hope in Christ alone in this life, we are the most miserable of all men ”(I Cor. 15:19). Our hope and victory comes from above him who can do all things. Our greatest good is in heaven, guarded where neither moth nor rust will consume. May we never forget this truth. We are in no way deserving of divine favor, but in everything we are blessed through Divine Grace. The psalmist thus taught us through verses 27, 28 and 29 of psalm 104: “His provision for His creatures:“ Everyone expects of you to give them food in due time. If you give them, they will collect it; if they open their hands, they are filled with goods. If you hide Thy face, they are troubled. if they break their breath, they die, and return to their dust ”(Psalm 104: 27-29). Have you noticed?
