2023 Governor's Service Awards: Susan James Hagan

Congratulations to Susan James Hagan of Wheeling, for receiving a 2023 Governor’s Service Award in the Adult Category! 🏆❤️ Susan James Hagan is well known in the Wheeling community as a committed volunteer who has the superpower of connecting people and getting things done. In 2022, Susan spearheaded the highly successful "Nail City Chef" benefit which raised over $20,000 for the Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling and Wheeling Health Right. She helps with numerous community projects. Susan is one of the founders of The Re-Entry Alliance for the Ohio Valley. During the pandemic she devoted countless hours to the Ohio County Food Security Team. It is hard to imagine a community project in Wheeling that Susan is not involved with. Her energy and dedication have made her an invaluable asset to the community, uplifting and empowering everyone she meets.
