Hey Dressage Superstar, I am going to answer the question - What do you do if your horse anticipates a flying change across the diagonal? It's really important that you do the movements somewhere else. If your horse does do the change on the diagonal when you don't ask - ask the horse to walk and pick up the counter canter and then when you feel like you are in control and the horse is not anticipating the movement anymore... then ask for the change. But don't ask until your horse is listening to you, you are in control - this might take 10 minutes, 10 hours or 10 weeks!! It's your job to teach them to wait for you to ask. Like this video?
