Great Is Thy Faithfulness is one of the most beloved Christian hymns of the 20th century, written by Thomas O. Chisholm in 1923 with music by William M. Runyan. Inspired by Lamentations 3:22–23, it celebrates God’s unchanging character, daily mercies, and steady provision through every season of life. Its warm, flowing melody and comforting lyrics have made it a favorite in churches around the world. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV) In this video, I’m performing Great Is Thy Faithfulness on piano accordion, which I like to see as a mini travel-sized organ.
