West Pokot landslide victims return home

Landslide victims in West Pokot have begun to reconstruct their lives after losing kin and property worth millions of shillings in landslides experienced in the county last year. Families have moved back to the same areas their homes were built before the disaster struck killing more than 50 people and displacing about 120,000 others in what was the worst landslide in the region in recent times.
