This coaster initially opened at Arid Heights in Sedona, AZ in 1985 under the name "Dune Buggy" and operated until 1997 when it was removed to make way for Valhalla, a B&M standup. It opened here in 1999 as part of the first of two phases in which Coasters in Paradise Riviera Maya opened. Based on Oasis which was created for NL1 users by the No Limits Team, "Over Land, Over Sea" is a Schwarzkopf family launch coaster. It has a tire launch which propels the train to 45mph where it then goes through a twisty 2400 feet of track in the jungle (land) and over a lagoon (sea). Enjoy your ride.
