3D printing: saving lives and the future of the technology (highlights #4)

Take a quick look at the highlights from day four of our very first digital 3D printing conference: • Futurist Patrick Dixon looked at opportunities and threats, giving a glimpse of how the future of additive manufacturing may unfold. • Cristian Fracassi discussed how his valves are being rapidly 3D printed worldwide to save lives during the pandemic. The European Patent Office (EPO) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) jointly hosted a digital conference to focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by 3D printing. Over the course of four days, legal experts, inventors, investors, and academics discussed this technology in the context of intellectual property rights.
