Reeves (Leicester) Booked: Mariner (89), foul on Walker. Injured: Berry broke his nose in the 30th minute, after colliding with Walker. He had two stitches inserted at an Ipswich hospital and visited the Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital on the Monday to have his nose reset. High praise: Charlton's performance against Ipswich was praised by St. Etienne manager Pierre Garonnaire who was at the match assessing the First Division leaders who his team were meeting in the quarter finals of the UEFA Cup. Of Charlton he said: "They were a remarkable side considering they are in the Third Division. I was very impressed with their performance."
