Kaufman is Chairman and CEO of Glenair, Inc. in Glendale, California. Glenair is a privately manufacturer of electrical and fiber optic components and assemblies primarily for aerospace applications. Peter Kaufman commenced his career by working for Glenair while in college nearly 40 years ago, and has been CEO for many decades. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1976 (Cum Laude), and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1977, both from the University of Southern California. He was a director of Wesco Financial, a unit of Berkshire Hathaway, and was a director of Daily Journal Corporation (DJCO) from 2006 to 2022. In 2005, he authored and published Poor Charlie’s Almanack, a compilation of talks delivered by his longtime friend Charlie Munger. Peter is active in various local and national charities and non-profit organizations. Charles Thomas Munger is a wise, perspicacious American billionaire investor, businessman, and lawyer who gets to the core of complex matters in seconds. He cuts to the chase, and often which his unique sense of humor. He is the Vice-Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway and business partner of Warren Buffett.
