Julie Christie is an iconic actress of the 1960s. She starred in the film Darling (1965) and was rewarded with the Academy Award for Best Actress. some of her best films include "Fahrenheit 451" (1966), "Far from the Madding Crowd" (1967), "McCabe & Mrs. Miller" (1971), Don't Look Now (1973), Shampoo (1975), and Heaven Can Wait (1978). In 2004 she played the part of Madam Rosmerta in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban along with British actress Maggie Smith. Of course, most people remember Christie acting as Lara opposite Omar Sharif in "Dr. Zhivago" (1965) one of the highest grossing movies of all time. "Lara's Theme" was written for the film Doctor Zhivago (1965) by composer Maurice Jarre.
