Uganda Constitution Protests

In Uganda, a rally by demonstrators in Kampala was broken up by police who fired tear gas at the protesters. The group had gathered to march towards parliament to protest against draft legislation that could extend President Yoweri Museveni’s rule. Students at Makerere University had assembled to start marching just before police dispersed them with teargas.
