Australian Open: Rafael Nadal Beats Daniil Medvedev To Become 1st Man To Clinch 21 Grand Slam Titles

Rafael Nadal pulled off a comeback for the ages to beat Daniil Medvedev in a classic tennis game and clinched his historic 21st Grand Slam title, the most by any men’s singles player in history. Before the match, Nadal was tied with Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic on the all-time titles list in men's singles. It was the second-longest Australian Open final after Novak Djokovic beat Nadal in five sets in 5 hours and 53 minutes in 2012. With the 2-6, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 win that started Sunday night and was delayed for a while in the second set when a protester jumped onto the court, Nadal also becomes just the fourth man in history to win all four of the sport’s major titles at least twice. #RafaelNadal #DaniilMedvedev #AustralianOpen #IndiaToday Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
