Behind that mill, a tough 6L80 6-speed bridges the gap between a custom Circle D Specialties torque converter and a custom Driveshaft Shop driveshaft. That tube spins a sturdy 9-inch axle, which pushes a full JW Rod Garage chassis. At the front of that chassis, tubular control arms and a big sway bar join double-adjustable Viking coil-overs to frame power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Opposite that rack, a modern 4-link makes excellent use of more tubes, a second sway bar and two more double-adjustable Viking coil-overs. At the corners, power-assisted Wilwood calipers clamp a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. And torque transitions to pavement through chrome American Racing Rodders, which spin Nitto NT555 G2s. Behind the solid-closing doors you’ll find a custom leather cockpit that wraps tons of classic flash in miles of modern flair.
