TOTAL CONSECRATION TO JESUS THROUGH MARY PROGRAM Catholic Diocese of Kingstown The Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary Program is based on St. Louis de Montfort’s classic work, True Devotion to Mary. This 33-day journey of prayer and reflection aims to purify souls and prepare participants for a complete consecration to Jesus through Mary. Structure of the Program: The program is divided into two main periods of spiritual exercises: • First Period (12 Days): Focuses on renouncing the spirit of the world, which opposes the teachings of Jesus Christ. • Second Period (3 Weeks): o Week 1: Dedicated to gaining self-knowledge. o Week 2: Dedicated to understanding the Blessed Virgin Mary. o Week 3: Dedicated to deepening knowledge of Jesus Christ. Participants are encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Confession prior to consecration and to attend Mass on consecration day, receiving Holy Communion with the intention of offering themselves to Jesus Christ as "slaves of love" through Mary's hands. All participants, including those renewing their consecration commitment, will receive a prayer book with detailed instructions and prayers free of charge. Consecration Ceremony All new participants and those renewing their consecration will join the class that begins on November 5 to end on December 8 with a beautiful ceremony celebrating the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady.
