Making King County’s wastewater treatment resilient to climate change

Executive Dow Constantine completed a day-long tour of King County wastewater treatment facilities to see how the staff has made our system more resilient to severe rainstorms that occur as the result of climate change. He finished the tour at West Point Treatment Plant where the staff briefed him on improvements they made since a major flood incident that occurred in 2017.
