December 28 ~ Feast of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph The example of the Holy Family can be summed up in the words of today’s second reading. They were clothed in “heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another…” This feast offers all families the inspiration and encouragement that is often needed. Strive in imitation of Mary, Joseph and Jesus to make these values an essential part of each relationship, each conversation and each interaction you have with one another. Let us pray that our families will draw inspiration from the Holy Family and that we turn to Mary and Joseph to find help and comfort.
