Mass accommodation centre for Ukrainian refugees opens

The first of a number of mass accommodation centres for Ukrainian refugees has opened at the Millstreet Arena in Cork. 70 people spent their first night in the centre yesterday amidst predictions the number seeking refuge in Ireland could reach 33,000 by the end of May. It comes as Minister for Justice Helen McEntee said Ireland would not put a cap on the number of refugees that come into the country.
