Delhi Elections 2020 Exclusive Interview: AAP MLA Somnath Bharti Malviya Nagar विधानसभा | The Vivran

After the Election Commission announced the poll schedule for Delhi Assembly elections, the IANS-C-Voter Delhi Tracker survey showed that the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party government is very strongly placed to retain power in the national capital. Results of the pre-poll survey conducted in the first week of January released on Monday indicate that AAP led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would repeat its 2015 Assembly election performance and win a lion's share of the votes polled. In the same context in the recent conversation at Malviya Nagar constituency, Somnath Bharti spoke about his constituency. The comments for the upcoming Delhi Elections 2020 on this 8 February was that since AAP has done the remarkable work and progressed in every way possible, they should be the whom people should vote and will be voting. He even spilled his comments on Anurag Thakur's comment on Shaheen bagh people and Parvesh Verma's comment on CM Arvind Kejriwal being a "terrorist". Somnath Bharti is an Indian lawyer who has become a politician representing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He was elected as the AAP candidate for the Malviya Nagar constituency in the 2013 Delhi state assembly elections and was Minister of Law, Tourism, Administrative Reforms, Art & Culture in the Government of Delhi, from 28 December 2013 to 14 February 2014, at which time the AAP government resigned.He has served as MLA from Malviya Nagar Constituency from February 2015 - February 2020. Now he is again contesting on the AAP ticket from Malviya Nagar for third time. AAP's hopes of achieving a similar swing from between Lok Sabha and Assembly elections have been bolstered by the endorsement it has received on its performance in office.
