Victorian recyclers crossing the border to cash in on NSW container deposit scheme | 7.30

Almost two years after China announced it would stop accepting overseas waste, Australia's recycling crisis continues to deepen. Last week Victoria's biggest kerbside recycling company was wound up by the Supreme Court, forcing dozens of councils to send thousands of tonnes of recyclables to landfill.
