'Dagger, Rusty's right! It's headed straight for us! Punch it! Go through South Gate!' A cutscene song. This plays after you beat Black Waltz #3 for the 1st time and you are escaping to Lindblum. You fight without Dagger, so no White Mage (actually, she is in only ONE boss fight on the entire first disc). however, Vivi's kicking ass with Double Black Magic. Very exciting cutscene with excellent music. FFIX cutscenes has great music. The thing that pissed me off, however, was that unlike the FFVII/VIII/X soundtrack discs that had all music from the game, FFIX's soundtrack didn't have cutscene music. In fact, you had to buy a fifth separate disc to hear that music. Screw that. FFIX tried many out of game ideas (Coca-cola commercials, that Play Online garbage where the strategy guide was basically unless) and they weren't the best idea. Hell, that collaboration between the guide and playOn line failed after this and was not repeated for FFX (thankfully). Also, anyone else notice that in a cutscene in the series, any magic used is always fire? Enjoy.
