In this video we're going to be getting started with the Bambu Lab H2S combo 3D printer and multi material AMS 2 PRO - I'll walk you through everything from the unboxing to our first print using the AMS 2 PRO for automated color changes resulting in beautiful multi color prints. We will also discuss the use of Bambu Studio slicer and perform some mini print projects with a variety of filaments and colors to assess the quality of the Bambu Lab H2S printer. ✅ If you do not yet own the Bambu Lab H2S - you can find it at the best price below! 👉 https://tidd.ly/4mReWhz ✅ For the very best print results with the H2S, naturally Bambu Lab has their own filament: 👉 https://tidd.ly/4p2Sm7D ✅ Bambu Labs Reusable Spool: 👉 https://tidd.ly/3JYuOke ✅ Want to print your own AMS compatible re-usable spools? I designed this one as seen in the video: 👉 https://makerworld.com/en/models/928537 ✅ Bambu Lab LED puck light kit 👉 https://tidd.ly/47IRxdI The Bambu Lab H2S features a 340x320x340mm build volume and a premium list of features on a modern 3D printer. It handles materials like PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, nylon, polycarbonate, and carbon fiber composites effortlessly. The hardened steel hotend reaches 350°C, the heatbed hits 120°C, and the active heated chamber maintains up to 65°C for warp-free results. The H2S also features closed loop servo motors, on board time-lapse camera with AI print failure detection, connectivity to the Bambu Handy mobile app, high torque extruder, and an optional 10W blue diode laser module + so much more. The Bambu Lab H2S can be purchased with the AMS 2 PRO as a combo kit or without. The AMS 2 PRO features an RFID filament tag reader, and it can double as a filament drying box! You can also daisy chain multiple AMS units together to print up to 24 colors! The Bambu Studio slicer is also well equipped with a ton of material presets for very popular filament brands and the profiles are tuned for those brands such as eSun, Polymaker, etc. As you should expect, the Bambu Lab branded filament prints excellent on their own machines. Featured in this video are all of the prints below which you can find on Bambu Maker World, you will also find my Amazon affiliate links (no extra cost to you) for some of the special filament I used in those projects: 📌 H2S Poop Chute: 👉 https://makerworld.com/en/models/1289566 ✅ Creality Hyper PLA Carbon Fiber: https://amzn.to/3JGhPnP 📌 Olympus Column Lamp 👉 https://makerworld.com/en/models/1743934 ✅ Elegoo Transparent PLA: https://amzn.to/4riLe8y 📌 Treasure Chest 👉 https://makerworld.com/en/models/519932 📌 Sci-Fi Display 👉 https://makerworld.com/en/models/806333 📌 Fairy Tale Book Box 👉 https://makerworld.com/en/models/1677339 ✅ Hello3D Copper Silk PLA: https://amzn.to/47MCoIk Overall, I would recommend the Bambu Lab H2S for beginner and advanced users alike. If you can afford the dual nozzle H2D I'm certain it will save you some print time on multi-color models but the H2S is a solid choice if it is the one within your budget. The H2S is also very quiet for such a large machine and the massive 340 x 320 x 340 mm build volume is perfect for oversized projects like cosplay helmets, prototypes, or batch production. Bambu Lab is producing nicely polished machines with less user-development and upgrades required than other brands from what I can see. They've done a very nice job of trying to make 3D printing as easy as possible at this stage in the technology. If you are new to 3D printing I still think you should have realistic expectations of the learning curve involved with the hobby. The machine works well out of the box but if you happen to run into issues you will likely get frustrated at first. Take a deep breath, stick with it and don't give up! It doesn't matter if you have a Creality, Bambu Lab, or any other popular high speed printer of this era, eventually you will need to do some troubleshooting. Stick with it!
