TriLok :: Improved FootLok Strap

TriLok :: Improved FootLok Strap

I’m Taylor Cropper from Bio Skin. In this video, I want to show you a simple, but important design change we’ve made to the TriLok that doesn’t change the way it works, but makes it easier to apply and more intuitive. Beginning immediately, you’ll start seeing new TriLoks with a change in the construction of the white FootLok strap. The Velcro tab that attaches to the foot is now black on one side and white on the other to clearly indicate how it is to be properly applied. Regardless of which foot it is being applied to or if you are applying it for medial or lateral offloading, you start by attaching the black side of the tab to the top of the of the forefoot, then wrap the strap around the forefoot and attach the strap to the white side of the Velcro tab. Black to black, white to white. This change makes it much easier for patients to understand how to put on a TriLok in less time. We have other exciting new changes coming soon to make things even better. In the meantime, if you haven’t yet seen our videos on using the TriLok for PTTD or lateral ankle sprains and peroneal tendon dysfunction, check them out here.
