On today’s Jay Sekulow Live, we discuss the actions that we at the ACLJ are taking to fight California’s ban on singing in churches. We have filed a lawsuit challenging the ban. This is a major lawsuit challenging the California ban on singing and chanting in churches that was issued on July 1st. We are representing three churches in California. By the way, they are in counties that are not under that new order that was announced late last week by Governor Newsom which shut down basically almost 80% of the state. These churches are in the counties that can still operate as churches but they have this mandate that says they must cease singing and chanting in churches. We at the ACLJ, representing these churches, have taken Governor Newsom, the California Health Director, and two county health officials to federal court.
