Weird UFO over Sacramento California 2018

We were hanging out in downtown Sacramento, and when we were turning to leave when I noticed a weird light in the sky. I was able to pull out my phone and start recording a couple seconds after I initially saw it. Whatever it is, it was falling down to earth a lot faster before I started recording, and it completely stopped falling right after I started recording. Date was 12/19/2018
