The First Train After The Fatal Crash, Switching Alter Metal Then Heading North.. | Jason Asselin
The first train back north after the deadly collision a few days ago. I think ELS 402 was one of the engines involved when a loaded dump truck hit a box truck that was stopped for the train crossing the highway in heavy fog, shoving it into the moving train. It forced the Escanaba & Lake Superior freight train off the rails completely blocking Highway 141 in northern Wisconsin. It killed the driver in the box truck. Today I was expecting ELS 402 but I wasn't sure when I saw it only pulling scrap heading north, afterwards I saw the rest of the train still on the main by Alter.
