Oblivion's BEST First Quest: Unfriendly Competition & Thoronir EXPOSED as a LIAR!

In today's video, we discuss what my favorite first quest to go on and complete is in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion! The quest is called Unfriendly Competition and takes place in The Imperial City Market District. The quest is triggered by overhearing conversations or by talking to specific merchants. They'll tell you a new shop has opened up in town and that the wood elf running it, Thoronir is undercutting his prices and making everyone else worried for their businesses. This quest will ultimately lead you on a rabbit hole of deceit, horror, blasphemous crimes and to uncover a disturbing truth of what's really going on. You also get decent loot and gold by going through this quest. Then at the end, we discuss why I believe Thoronir is a liar and actually knows about Agarmir's sources and that he is likely in on the whole crime scheme.
