Nier Replicant Ver.1.22 - "Number 6" (Hard Difficulty) - 8th boss Guide (See Desc)

This video shows how to beat the 8th boss of the new game Nier Replicant Ver. 1.22 - "Number 6" on Hard difficulty. Strategy/Tips - I did not have any heals when I reached this boss so had to be careful how to play it. Phase 1 (03:30): Magic is the only damage you can do to the boss so spam that button (It would be great if you can save some magic capsules)! In this phase, it has the following attacks: a) Rush to you slamming you to the wall b) Throw purple magic balls at you c) Throw a LOT of Red and Pink Magic balls at you d) It would stand up and throw a lot of magic red balls in front of it. The first two kind of attacks can be evaded and you have time enough for it especially if you are spamming the magic attack. The third attack is a little tricky. If you keep spamming, you can damage the red balls but not the pink ones. They need to be evaded/Jumped over. The fourth attack can be easily evaded by standing behind the boss. Phase 2 (07:32): It reaches phase 2 at around half hp. The changes are that it would periodically leap in the air, stick to the wall and throw magic balls at you which have a weird way of chasing you. The trick is to be around the middle - rush towards the boss when they are released preferably through an opening in the entire circle of those balls and circle back. Do not walk back in a straight line. Some balls will hit you in that case. When the boss falls, it would again release a ton of red balls which can be easily managed by spamming your attack. They won't hit the boss but would hit the balls. RECOMMENDATION: When the hp is almost finished/depleted, save all your mana to blast the boss during the finisher timer. I did not do it the first time and my damage the first go was bad.
