Inspired by the ideals of Shri Iswar Chandra Vidhya Sagar (1820-1891), Shri Jainmal Surana nurtured a dream to found a college exclusively for women belonging to disadvantaged communities in and around Chengalpattu. Shri Hastimal Surana carried forward the mission and accomplished his father's cherished dream.
