Old Fashioned Yellow Cupcakes Recipe Noreen's Kitchen

Greetings! Last week I showed you my recipe for a delicious, old fashioned, chocolate or devils' food cake. This week I wanted to share with you how to make my favorite old fashioned yellow cake batter. We are going to make some cupcakes which we are topping off with both vanilla bean and Nutella butter creams. I will be sharing the Nutella buttercream in another video. I will also be sharing with you how I fill my cupcakes in yet another video coming soon so stay tuned! Making a cake from scratch is really no less work than making one from a mix and you know that I have used mixes in the past, but to be certain, it is super simple to make one from scratch and you already have what you need in your pantry and fridge to throw this together in a jiffy. I have made cupcakes with my batter but you can easily put this to work in a sheet pan, or round or square pans if you choose. This cake is moist and flavorful and the vanilla really shines through. This really does qualify as a vanilla bean cupcake so you can call it what you like. I have plans to share with you how to build on this recipe and make several different types and flavors of cake with this as a base place to start. I can't wait to share some of my other favorites.
