Mass Effect 2 - How to Romance Tali

In this video, I'll show you how to romance Tali in Mass Effect 2. In order to romance Tali, you first need to recruit her on Haestrom and then complete her loyalty mission, which involves acquitting Tali of treason before the Quarian Admirals. At the trial, you need to make sure that you do not use evidence of her father’s crimes, or else you will lose her loyalty and any shot at love. Also - if you’ve completed Tali and Legion’s loyalty missions then you will find the two of them in a major confrontation. You will either need to resolve this confrontation with a speech check or side with Tali in order to keep her available as a romance. After you’ve completed her mission, head to the Engineering deck, speak with Tali and choose the option “I want to talk about you.” She will share how she got sick after fighting the Geth in the last mission, the struggles of the Quarian immune system and living in a suit. The next time you speak with Tali, she will apologize for expressing feelings for Shepard and say she doesn’t want to distract him from the mission. In this conversation, be reassuring that you are interested in her. This will lock-in Tali as Shepard’s love interest for the playthrough and unlock the last romance scene when you launch the final mission.
