Farming for the Future: Embracing Regenerative Agriculture

NC County Extension Director of Madison County, Elizabeth Ayers shares her experiences working as a director with regenerative agriculture. Regenerative Agriculture describes farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle. The GREEN UP project is dedicated to generating racial equity and justice by empowering and engaging underserved farmers to adopt conservation practices. Film By: Adrieanna Thacker
