NV200 Headlights and Exterior Lights

The headlight switch is located on the multifunction lever to the left of the steering column. To turn ON your front parking lights, tail lights, license plate light and instrument panel lights; turn the headlight switch to THIS position. To turn ON the headlights, turn the switch to THIS position. All the other lights will stay ON. To turn ON your high beam headlights, push this lever forward. You'll see a blue indicator light illuminate. Pull it back toward you to return to low beam. To make your high beam headlights flash ON and OFF, pull the lever toward you and release it. To signal turns, move it upward to signal a right turn, down to signal a left. When you've made the turn, the signal cancels automatically. To signal a lane change, push this lever lightly up or down, not as far as for a complete turn. Release the lever to finish signaling the lane change. If your vehicle is equipped with fog lights, here's how to activate them. Your headlights must be ON and low beam selected. Then rotate the switch to THIS position and your fog lights will come on. Turn the switch to OFF, to deactivate the fog lights. If you turn the high beam headlights ON, the fog lights will automatically turn OFF. The daytime running light system automatically lights up the headlights at a reduced intensity when the engine is started and the parking brake is released. Turn the headlights ON when full illumination is desired. Depending on the load the vehicle is carrying, the headlights may be aimed higher than desired. The vehicle headlights may directly hit the rearview mirror of the vehicle ahead or the windshield of an oncoming vehicle. Please see your Owner's Manual for proper procedures to adjust your vehicles headlight axis.
