First we start off in the Ashenwood, where we once again meet the Wood Man, but instead of infusing him with power, we devour his spirit. This nets us the feat Spirit Gorge, which allows us to devour spirits or souls of multiple enemies. After demonstrating it, we travel to our save on the Astral Plane. We engage in the cutscene with Myrkul again, but this time we allow One-of-Many to devour him, assimilating all of his energy. One-of-Many demands to meet us alone, so off-camera I dismiss all of Janak's party members, and then Myrkul reveals himself through One-of-Many. He wants to devour Janak to gain his spirit-eating ability, and use it to take back the Fugue plane from Kelemvor. Unfortunately, Myrkul can't do very much when Janak petrifies him, except to die again, of course. One-of-Many begs for its existence, but Janak devours its spirit, sending every entity within to the Wall of the Faithless.
