In Russia, they plan to launch production of samples of the heavy-duty 2s7m Malka gun, an upgraded version of the Soviet pion gun. This was announced by Dmitry Semizorov, General Director of Uraltransmash. The howitzer, which was created in the 1970s, will receive new communications equipment, guidance system, anti-nuclear protection system and surveillance devices. "Malka" will go to the artillery brigades of high power.
