Just to reminder you about taking care of yourself during Winter season. @meemmie has shared her experience through the Winter and she has attended the Winter Solstice Gathering For the First time. The Event has involving with spiritual, wellness, and nature-focused events, with local groups hosting celebrations like sound baths, meditation, drum circles, potlucks, and market days. Circadian Biology expert Dani Hamilton explained how the longer nights, cooler temperatures, and slower rhythm of winter naturally activate deep restoration and healing within the body. Dani and Lara illuminate how both body and spirit follow the same rhythm of rest, repair, and rebirth—a reminder that healing begins when we slow down and listen to the season itself. The winter solstice marks the official beginning of astronomical winter (as opposed to meteorological winter, which starts about 3 weeks before the solstice). It occurs once a year in each hemisphere: once in the Northern Hemisphere (in December) and once in the Southern Hemisphere (in June). It marks the start of each hemisphere’s winter season. When one hemisphere is experiencing its winter solstice, the other is simultaneously experiencing its summer solstice!
