"Persistence in Prayer, Faith and Peace" Twenty Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Cycle C St. Thomas More Parish, Hauppauge, NY Readings: Reading I: Exodus 17:8-13 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 121:1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 Reading II: 2 Timothy 3:14-4:2 Gospel: Luke 18:1-8 There are conflicts all around the world, and close to home as well. For inspiration, we can look to Frances Crowe, a 20th century activist and pacifist. She was persistent in her belief in human dignity. Perhaps we can adopt that persistence as well. Our persistence needs to be in prayer and faith, to bring about peace All music composed, arranged and performed by Dcn. Matthew T. J. Surico
