"Persistence in Prayer, Faith and Peace" Twenty Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Cycle C St. Thomas More Parish, Hauppauge, NY Readings: Reading I: Exodus 17:8-13 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 121:1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 Reading II: 2 Timothy 3:14-4:2 Gospel: Luke 18:1-8 There are conflicts all around the world, and close to home as well. For inspiration, we can look to Frances Crowe, a 20th century activist and pacifist. She was persistent in her belief in human dignity. Perhaps we can adopt that persistence as well.
