Main Fire (Trumbull CT)

Call Date: 10/01/23 Call Location: Trumbull CT Call Type: Structure Fire Call Description: At 5:27 p.m., Trumbull Fire district's of Long Hill and Trumbull Center were notified of a possible structure fire at the corner of Main St and Alden Ave. LH-4 was first on scene, having smoke showing out of a 2 story attached garage and called for the working fire. This added the district of Nicholas to the assignment for RIT and townwide coverage. Fire crews operated quickly and got 2 lines in operation, one line to protect the house and the other into the garage. Roof opps were also conducted. The bulk of the fire was put out within 15 minutes, and overhaul followed after. The fire was placed under control in about 45 minutes, and the fire was contained to only the garage. There were no injuries reported, and the Trumbull Fire Marchals Office is investigating the cause of the fire. Agencies: Trumbull FD Trumbull EMS Trumbull PD
