In this episode, filmed a couple of years ago, we want you to rediscover one of the best kept jewels of Rome: the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. The basilica stands on the tomb of St. Paul, who died a martyr in Rome in 67 AC, in the place where now stands the Basilica of St. Paul at the Three Fountains, which - according to tradition - sprang from the three leaps of Paul's head, severed from the body. For over 1300 years, Benedictine monks have been the custodians of this place. Today, the Benedictine charism is intertwined with the ecumenical one. Among the most well-known initiatives are the Pauline Ecumenical Colloquium and the Week for Christian Unity, which closes in this basilica, in the presence of the Pope, on January 25th of each year, the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. 🔔 Subscribe to our newsletter here 👉🏻 https://bit.ly/3qNTDDA
