Tropical Storm Barry to make landfall in New Orleans

Tropical Storm Barry’s wind and rain are starting to hit parts of Louisiana Saturday as New Orleans and coastal communities are bracing for flooding risks from what’s expected to be the first hurricane of the season. A hurricane warning was in effect along the Louisiana coast. It has since been downgraded to a tropical storm. Prior, the storm was upgraded to a Category One hurricane late Saturday morning.
