In this video, I will share with you my 5am garden morning routine at the countryside! how to start eating healthy can be a bit intimidating, especially since the offer in stores is full with unhealthy foods, snacks and hidden toxic ingredients. Every summer, I try to spend as much as time possible in my mom's countryside garden in Serbia, where she grows organic vegetables and fruits. I usually start my day with morning routine which includes walking in the nature, breathing fresh air and picking up some fresh fruits from the tree. In this video, I share with you a healthy vegan recipe from the green leafy vegetable called in Serbian Blitva. I tried to find a translation in English, it should be something like "mangelwurzel" or "mangold wurzel", also called "mangold", "mangel beet"... I'm not quite sure, so if you know the right translation, please share it in the comments. I'm not a vegan, but I enjoy having a vegan meal per day! I also try to keep my cooking minimal, and eat as much fresh as possible. So, I cooked Blitva only for a minute or two, not more. You can also eat it raw as a salad, tastes also very good! That's one healthy eating hack for saving time, but also to start eating healthy, don't cook it, just eat it raw :-) Starting a day with healthy habits, like gardening or eating healthy or spending some time in the rural countryside away from the city buzz, is very important for my mental health. It makes me feel more present, energized, focused and most important, happier. I also feel more creative when I'm away from the comfort of living in the city. Getting out of the comfort zone is good way to remined ourselves what is really important in life. Also, it helps us set our own values, without influence from the social media, news, friends...
